Where to Eat in London by Supal Desai

London will never exhaust itself of great places to indulge. Since moving to the city close to two years ago, I’ve had my fair share of gastronomical experiences. I try my best to keep a regular list of places to visit as I constantly have friends coming and going through the city. Here are a few of my latest favorites…

Jar Kitchen

Breakfast is the most important meal and I made a point to visit Jar Kitchen before a busy day of meetings. Jar Kitchens breakfast choices are packed with flavor and nutrition, making it the perfect reason to treat yourself on a Monday morning.

Maitre Choux

I have quite the sweet tooth and so a weekly visit to Maitre Choux is a must as it’s not too far from home. The éclairs are decadent and absolutely delicious. New flavors are always being introduced for the season, so there’s always something exciting to try!

The Folly

A cheeky tipple with the girlfriends is always fun to catch up on gossip, but recently I’ve been craving experiences. The Folly hosts a sensory rosé tasting for a group and will make any ordinary after work drinks more exciting.

Chicken Shop

Seldom are the days that I go any further than zone 2, but I will hike for a good food. I made my way to Soho House’s Chicken Shop and found myself in the heart of a very cute part of London. Nestled in the middle of all the hustle and bustle of Crouch End, Chicken Shop is an inviting warm cave perfumed with rotisserie chicken. A very humble menu with an incredible apple pie!
