This week we have been lucky enough to have the lovely Supal Desai, lifestyle blogger and creator of Chevrons and Eclairs, featuring on our blog for a guest piece.
Supal started her blog in 2011, and she enjoys sharing visual stories that celebrate her love for fashion and lifestyle, through personal photography, editorials and content.
This week we have asked her the all important question, what she wears to work…
Even though the dog days of summer are just around the corner I like to freshen up my work-wear look with a few basics to keep me motivated, inspired and ahead of the game.
Classic White Button-Down
Nothing says Dzpowerdz like a crisp, white button-down shirt. I like to stick with linen blends for the warmer months. I reccomend Massimo Dutti for women and Emma Willis for men, for the best shirts.
I avoid the traditional tailored trousers and go for something a little more delicate. Either something made of cotton or linen, maybe a lighter colour. Women can pull off a tailored harem, much like the one I have one, which are also from Massimo Dutti.
Chain links are extremely sophisticated and a bit bulky. When you’re wearing delicate clothes, opt for something more gentle like a leather strap, like Larsson and Jennings. If you’re looking to be a bit more sartorially daring then go for a big face.
